Resenha/Review: Inflict by Bethany-Kris

Inflict é um livro único da autora Bethany-Kris , sobre a especialidade dela : o mundo da máfia . 

Contado no ponto de vista de Connor , aqui seguimos a história  de Connor O’Neil  e Evelyn . Esses dois se conhecem quando crianças e criam um vínculo forte mesmo de amizade .   Até que uma noite tudo muda e Connor acredita que Evelyn morreu. Vemos Connor Quando criança sofrer as crueldades do seu maldoso pai , confesso que teve algumas parte que partiu meu coração . Esse livro foi mais pesado e dark que os demais que li dessa autora .

Enfim , anos mais tarde vemos Connor Crescido : ele não é mais aquela criança pura , agora ele é perigoso , e está efetivamente envolvido no mundo da Mafia . E é justamente em uma noite fazendo um trabalho a mando do chefe da Máfia que é ninguém menos que seu pai que Connor descobre que Evelyn não morreu , pelo contrário passou todos esses anos como escrava sexual . Ela não é mais aquela menina pura e cheia de vida que ele conheceu , ela  é uma sombra da garota que um dia ela foi . Será que Connor vai conseguir trazer a Evelyn de antes de volta ? É mais importante , será que ele vai conseguir protege ela , já que ela não é sua para manter ?

A história desses dois se desenvolve lentamente , mas faz sentido depois de tudo que Ela passou . A jornada desses dois não é fácil , mas também foi bonito de ler Connor e Evelyn se apaixonarem . Connor é um homem que tem um lado escuro é perigoso ,mas pelo seu relacionamento com Evelyn vemos o lado protetor e amoroso dele , e adorei ver esse contraste entre seus dois lados .

Inflict é um livro dark , com algumas cenas pesadas de ler , mas basicamente nos mostra a jornada entre duas pessoas que vivem em um mundo cruel e brutal se apaixonarem e descobrirem que juntos eles podem passar por seus problemas e se curarem . Outro ótimo livro  de romance no mundo da máfia  dessa autora .

Inflict is the standalone from Bethany –Kris , a book about what she specializes in writing as well: the world of the mafia. 

Told in the Connor POV , here we follow the story of Connor O'Neil and Evelyn. These two know each other as children and create a strong bond even friendship.Until one night, everything changes and Connor believes that Evelyn died. See Connor as a child suffer the cruelties of your evil father, I confess I had some part that broke my heart. This book was more dark and heavy than the others by the author.

Anyway, years later we see Connor Grown: it's no longer that child, now he is dangerous, and is effectively involved in the world of the Mafia.And it is precisely in a night doing work at the behest of the mafia boss who is none other than your father Connor discovers that Evelyn didn't die, however passed all these years as slave. She's not that girl pure and full of life that he met, she is a shadow of the girl that she was.Is that Connor will be able to bring Evelyn back to back? More importantly, will he be able to protect her, since she is not your to keep?

The story of these two develops slowly, but it makes sense after all she's been through. The journey of these two is not easy, but it was also nice to read Connor and Evelyn fall in love.Connor is a man who has a dark side is dangerous, but by your relationship with Evelyn see protective and loving side of him, and I loved watching this contrast between its two sides.

Inflict is a dark book, with some scenes of heavy reading, but basically shows us the journey between two people who live in a cruel world and brutal fall in love and discover that together they can get through their problems and heal.
